Many brides spend months planning every detail of their dream wedding. But the big day can be frantic with last minute details, high emotion and lots of people to coordinate.
One of my clients said “Not only were the photos that Krys took unbelievable, but his presence was very calming on a very high stress day!”
As a seasoned wedding photographer I blend technical skills and artistic talent to put as much care and attention to detail in capturing the event as you do in planning it. You can relax and be beautiful!
There’s so much more to quality wedding photography than having an expensive camera. I have an understanding of lighting and posing, of balancing the daylight and flash, getting just the right angle, and how to be in the right place at the right time to get those special shots that you’ll treasure for ever.
I’d love to discuss ways you can bring some calm to the stress of your big day. To set up a complimentary phone session call 303 249 6185 or email at krys@ColoradoWeddingPhotos.com
I look forward to helping you capture all the details of your perfect day!
It rained all morning, and then the sun finally came out exactly as Kris got to the front of the aisle – surely a sign!
The flowers were really beautiful – by Melanie at Bloomers Inc.

Willow Ridge Manor is nestled in the foothills west of Denver, south of Morrison on highway 285.
It’s in really great condition – they obviously spare no expense on the maintenance.
The bride’s dressing suite is HUGE, with two large rooms and a private bathroom, and they are beautifully furnished, which leads to some lovely “bride getting ready” shots.
The banquet suite is very well-appointed, and has a white ceiling (makes a big difference to the photos), and there’s a nice balcony also.
The views, of course, are incredible, as are the outdoor photo possibilities.
I will confess to having a soft spot for Willow Ridge Manor – we had our wedding reception there back in 2001.
Kelly & Kris’ wedding was held at Willow Ridge Manor.
Many thanks to Miranda and Scott for being wardrobe mistress and light stand respectively!
Victorian House in Heritage Square is a nice old building, suitable for smaller weddings. There is a large deck, but the ceremony I photographed (Tina & Sean’s) was held on the steps in front of the building.
Photography opportunities are good, but not great.
